Dr. T. Ramesh Kumar has been performing seafarers’ pre‐employment medical examinations for over 20 years. Approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping), he currently serves as Consultant and Chief Medical Officer at Chennai Raj Medicare Lab, Chennai. In accordance with DG Shipping guidelines, we issue medical reports and certificates through NABH‐accredited facilities and certified centers, ensuring all reports comply fully with NABH standards.

Documents & preparation for your Class II exam

Keep these ready on the day of your appointment for a smooth, single-visit examination.

Documents to carry

  • 2 colour passport–size photographs (with name & date)
  • 10th mark sheet — xerox copy with attestation
  • Birth certificate — xerox copy with attestation
  • Voter ID / Passport / PAN card — xerox copy with attestation

Instructions before sampling

  • Strictly avoid all fatty foods for 48 hours before your appointment
  • Fast for a minimum of 8–10 hours before blood collection
  • Carry any existing spectacles / prescriptions for the eye opinion
  • Arrive well–hydrated with water (fasting excludes water)
